Small World's End

This is a superb cocktail! It's a variation on a 1948 Daiquiri (white rum, sugar, lime), which is one of my all-time favorites. Royal Rose Cardamom-Clove Syrup gives the drink a hint of the exotic. The name "World's End" refers to a precipice in Sri Lanka, where our organic cloves are grown. Cool, right?

World's End, Sri Lanka

World's End
2 1/2 oz. white rum
1/2 oz. Royal Rose Cardamom-Clove Syrup
1/2 oz. lemon juice

Combine ingredients in a Boston shaker over ice and shake vigorously.  Serve straight up with a lemon wedge.
