Forrest made this for me the other night. It is fragrant with the perfect amount of sweetness. The citrusy and botanical notes of the gin complement the floral quality of the lavender. The syrup gives the drink a pale, ghostly purple color. If you don't have Bulldog gin, try it with your favorite gin or with vodka, in a pinch.
2 oz. Bulldog gin
3/4 oz. Royal Rose Lavender Syrup
1/2 oz. freshly squeezed lemon juice
Combine syrup and lemon juice in a pint glass or jam jar. Add 4 or 5 ice cubes and then the gin. Shake vigorously and serve straight up or on the rocks. Top with seltzer water.
