Midnight to 6

Forrest made this one while I was waiting for him to start a movie (for forever...). But it was worth the wait. Get ready to have your socks knocked off.

Midnight to 6
1 1/4 oz. dark rum
1 1/4 oz. Snap
1/2 oz. Butterscotch sauce (recipe below)
1/2 oz. RR Rose Syrup
1 dash of Angostura bitters
splash of half & half, to taste
freshly grated nutmeg
freshly grated cinnamon

Combine ingredients over ice in a Boston shaker.  Shake and serve either over one large ice cube or straight up.

Butterscotch sauce
3 tablespoons Lyle's Golden Syrup
1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons heavy cream
